Can Strict anti-terror Law contain Terrorism? Though the answer for this question is by and large 'NO', still the government follows the same route to contain terror. But on the same day when the amended UAPA came into existence 01/Jan/09, India has been victimised for another terror attack. When Mumbai, Delhi, or Ahemadabad was attacked the entire nation looked at the incident as if their own house was attacked but when any of the North-eastern state is attacked everybody sympathised as if their neighbours house was looted. As a matter of fact many even didn't know that Assam was attacked. But this is a different story. The shameful arguments given by the present home minister that Assam Police was UNLUCKY highlights the point that terror strikes are looked by the administrators as video games and India surely lack the expertise to tackle terror strikes. In this scenario when more stringent laws targeting the innocent citizens rather than the terrorists with its draconian provisions proves Indian incompetancy.
